Theoretical Approach : The way the past influences the present – the psychodynamic approach – has been my guide, but what the client needs in order to manage their life has become my practice.

Code of Ethics : The BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.

Details of Therapy Offered : Short or long term as determined by need, usually in my consulting room in my home, and mostly in sessions of one hour. My website will tell you more.

Experience / Special Interest : I have practised as a counsellor / psychotherapist for over 25 years, privately and in a GP Health Centre. This work for some years was combined with training other therapists and working as an executive mentor.

A focus has developed on working with persons who have experienced trauma whether that is a one off event or perhaps abuse in childhood and beyond. This interest and training involves me in being invited to work with critical incidents when they occur.

Supervision Offered : A role continues as a supervisor of other therapists, from the most experienced to students

Qualifications : BSC., BD., D.Min. BACP Senior Accredited Counsellor and Supervisor. EMDR UK and Ireland Accredited Practitioner. Pink Therapy Accredited Practitioner. Certificate in Supervision.

Other Training : Brief Focussed Counselling, Transactional Analysis, Prochaska & Diclemente Cycle of Change, Couple Counselling, Group work and Conflict Resolution.

Clients : Individual and Couples.

Fees : £35 to £50 per hour of session by negotiation.

Other Services : Executive Mentoring, Myers Briggs Temperament Indicator (MBTI)
